tonight im listening to John Legend's "Everybody Knows" and although this is about love, some of the words reach out to me a friend of mine. see, i thought we were best friends but...
hes someone else's best friend now.
i just didnt know it was that easy to drop your best and create a new one so quickly...
and i always said i'd quit talking about it and that i'd get over it but i havent. sadly.
everyone knows but "nobody really knows" how i feel about it. im sure at least one person out there knows what im saying. i cant take my friend back by force, i cant make the "new friend" go away. i just have to accept it, right? do i really have to..? listen to the song if you will.
